2. Большинство горничных спали в комнатах Y и Z, над 1 и 2, до тревоги 25 марта, когда они переехали в комнаты на другой стороне дома (X и W), таким образом оставив те, что над № 1 и 2, пустыми.

3. Робинсон и миссис Робинсон (дворецкий и кухарка) занимали комнату W до 13 марта, когда оба переехали в комнату дворецкого у холла, которую в течение первого месяца занимала горничная Мак, которая заболела и вернулась на юг.
